 The fonts are Futura and Fraktur: a sans-serif typeface and a blackletter typeface. Blackletter was popular in the early phase of the Third Reich, then Hitler banned Fraktur because it was believed to have Jewish origins. He subsequently transitioned to sleek, more modern-looking sans-serif typefaces like Futura.

The typographic illustration mimics the barbed wire that enclosed concentration camps (the barbs being swastikas) and reads: "Arbeit Macht Frei" (work makes you free). Those were the words inscribed above the entrance of most Nazi concentration camps.

The logo for the publisher is the letter "Z" in Hebrew. "Zakhor" means "Remember" in Hebrew.
